The primary change is the introduction of “dual” use parking areas which can be used by both residents and pay/display customers. In other words, someone with a resident’s parking permit can now park for free in a normal pay and display box in that same area.
The other change affecting our area is the introduction of visitor permits (which we think will be welcomed by residents). There is no change to the hours of operation of the parking restrictions in our area which remain 8.30 to 5.30 Monday to Friday.
